I bought this netbook to do some chore m on the go (with MS Employment and a web browser). It was lighter and $50-100 cheaper on Amazon than other products with to the letter the same specialized characteristics. Bonus Lenovo is recommended by our IT dpt. The S100 works awful, starts from "off" course in less than a journal and wakes up from hibernation in less than 30 sec. The battery existence is >4hours as advertised when using MS advocacy. I use it to give presentations with torrential overweight (>30MB) powerpoint slideshows incl. movies and it never chagrined me by frosty or being ennuyant. Pictures loading and modification is a bit take it easy with ImageJ but delightful.
