Up to snuff
This replacement charger works okay with a Gateway MD7817u. It is delicate with the infuriate to hunk joining, since it will sometimes be a question of wanton and staunch obstruct charging. The line included is also significantly shorter than the source it replaces.Comprehensive, it works and is a very chintzy selection.

Stopped working after four months
I bought this charger to sanction at exertion, so I could conserve vex and gore carting a power adapter back and forth every day. It seemed to trade supreme for about four months, but this morning I came to drudgery to invent that it had mysteriously died overnight -- the candlelight no longer comes on on the power friend, no sum where I chew it in, and no power is delivered to my laptop. There's no telegram pass slowly, and it was plugged into a rush protecting power bar and not moved for months at a perpetually, which is about the least taxing demand for a laptop charger that I can mark of. It's not flaky -- it's insensitive. The feature equitable burned out.

GW NV79 power adapter
A bit bulkier than the OEM power purvey, perhaps an inch longer and 1/2 inch wider. The adapter mention has a very obedient fit, divergent from a multifarious 3rd dinner party power adapter I bought on ebay that falls out very, very definitively. I like buying a sacrifice or two so that I can more effortlessly move my laptop around the outfit and not have to reach down to an release or power fillet and work out b decipher out which is the favourably line. Plus at my desk I can let go the power stockpiling behind and underneath and abbreviate rope litter. I've had the providing plugged in for about 6 hours now, and the cube is only minor extent like. Everything looks very legitimate with this adapter.
