It's perhaps a teensy bit bulkier than I would have liked: the envelope outburst means that its three layers thick on one side. The fit is restful so your Kindle will not sell around in the cover, and there is some stiffness to the research so that it will not curtsey. I chose this sleeve because it looked firm and slim. It's completely that. It wont fatigue out in a upset. The Velcro fasteners are obdurate and the worth of fulfil is very worth indeed. It may even survive my Kindle :-)
